As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare facility by operating specialized imaging equipment to produce detailed images of patients' internal organs and tissues.*Benefits of working with Seven Healthcare:** License Reimbursement* Referral Program* Health Insurance* Certification reimbursement* Weekly pay* sick pay* Travel/Flight Reimbursement*Responsibilities of the PET/CT Technologist*:* Perform PET/CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.* Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.* Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required for PET imaging.* Operate and maintain PET/CT imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.* Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.* Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and other relevant documentation.* Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.* Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging results.* Stay informed about advancements in PET/CT technology and imaging techniques through ongoing education and training.*Applicant Requirements:** BLS Certification* ARRT Certification* NY License* 1 year PET/CT Tech experience required*Working for Seven Healthcare:*Seven Healthcare is one of the USA's most popular agencies for Skilled Technologist jobs.
