This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities, including tax compliance, tax preparation, corporate tax, and tax returns. This role requires a person who can drive efficiency and process improvements while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws.Why join us?Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage all tax projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.2. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.3. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.4. Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns.5. Maintain tax balances on general ledger.6. Manage and coordinate tax audits.7. Prepare tax forecasts and analyze tax issues.8. Keep abreast of current developments in the tax area.9. Provide support with various internal audits and special tax-related projects.10. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.Job DetailsQualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is a plus.2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.3. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.4. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.5. Proficient in tax preparation, corporate tax, tax compliance, and tax returns.6. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.7. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.8. Analytical skills with detail orientation.9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.10.
