About the facility A Private Practice is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage. About the facility location The facility is located in Long Island, New York. About the clinician's workday This role offers a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-6 PM), including one evening shift (10 AM-7 PM) and potential future Sunday coverage. Credentialing takes 60-90 days but allows for a pending start. Providers will see 25-30 patients daily (ages 16), supported by three providers and front desk staff. BC/BE and a DEA license are required. Spanish fluency is highly preferred but not required. The role involves managing diabetes, hypertension, sick visits, wellness check-ups, pap smears, and occasional medication refills (Suboxone, diet, and anxiety meds, no new prescriptions).
