Job Description:

Full-time hours are 4pm-midnight.$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS!Basic Function/Overall Responsibilities: To provide nursing services within the scope of licensure granted by the State of New York in accordance with agency established job description and policy and procedure.Principal Assigned Responsibilities:Performs admission assessments on new clients with annual and as needed updates.Performs quarterly and as needed updates on childrens heights/weights/blood pressures.Attends resident progress conferences as required.Participates in medication-related functions which may include, but are not limited to, ordering, checking, logging in, distributing, and administering medications.Assists HGS physicians (psychiatrists/pediatrician/nurse practitioner with evaluation of children and follow-up on any orders resulted from such evaluations.Participates in scheduling childrens health-related appointments upon admission, annually, and as needed.Documents appropriate information in clinical records.Carries out and follows-up on physicians orders.Participates in medication reviews with physicians and monthly Treatment Planning Reviews (TPRs).
