($36.00 - $44.00/hr., dependent upon experience)SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL 3PM - 11PM & 11PM - 7AM - $2.00/HR.SIGN-ON BONUS: $7,500 for Full - TimeBENEFITS:Weekly PaychecksTuition AssistanceReferral BonusesPeer MentorshipGenerous Paid Time OffJOB DESCRIPTION:A Registered Nurse Supervisor works closely with RNs to ensure the best possible functions of assigned units and supervise unit employees.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the departmentResponsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our residents and their familiesSupport nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employeesEnsure all policies and procedures are being followed at all times while also making suggestions for improvementsProvides information to Residents and health care team.Maintains documentation of Resident care services.Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting.REQUIREMENTS:Degree from an accredited school of nursingCurrent and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York requiredMinimum of 1-year RN experience requiredMust have strong assessment skills as well as interpersonal skillsEducation or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferredMust be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliableStrong customer service skills and compassionABOUT US:VestraCare is a portfolio of four health care facilities in New York state, including: Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk; Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Roscoe; Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville; and Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City.
