Clinical Nurse I: E3 General medicine/surgical unit at Albany Medical Center summary: The Clinical Nurse I in the Medical/Surgical unit at Albany Medical Center provides comprehensive care for patients throughout their hospital stay. This role involves assessing, coordinating, and managing patient needs, ensuring high-quality and compassionate care is delivered by the caregiving team. Registered Nurses are also encouraged to pursue professional development and advancement within their specialty areas. Department/Unit: Medical/Surgical Hospitalist - E3 Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20 The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of
assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during
transitions within the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and
coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate
patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the
inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
** Registered Professional Nurses that participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP)
